Afropop singer, Yemi Alade, on Sunday showed off a pair of ripped jeans bought from Yaba, Lagos.
The 29-year-old posted a picture of the jeans on Instagram with a call on those who shop in either Obalende of Yaba to identify themselves.
“This one is from Yaba.
“It’s not how much but how well you rock em!” the ‘Yaba Left’ singer wrote.
Yaba is one of the biggest markets for the sale of imported second hand clothing in Africa.
Some of the traders are also notorious for sexually assaulting women who go shopping there.
A group of women recently staged a protest against men who groped female shoppers.
Yemi Alade on her part was recently in the news over a spat with fellow singer, Tiwa Savage, on which of the two has the bigger bum.
