Afro-pop singer, Yemi Alade, has taken on the dance floor with her mother, Helen Uzoma.
Yemi, 30, posted a video on Instagram on Sunday showing the two of them dancing and singing along to her new single ‘Shekere’, which features Grammy winner, Angelique Kidjo.
“Shekere is my mum’s fav song o o ❤️❤️,” she wrote.
The ‘Johnny’ singer does not pass off chances to put her mother in the spotlight.
In an interview in May 2019, Yemi Alade credited her mum with instilling in her the desire to communicate with others through music.
