Singer Idowu Adeyemi, popularly known as Yhemolee and his wife, Tayo Oyindamola, also known as Thayour, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy.
The couple shared the news on Instagram on Saturday, posting photos from their maternity shoot while expressing gratitude and love for their son.
Describing the baby as “an answered prayer,” they wrote, “Psalm 139:13 ‘You made all the delicate inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.’ This journey has been filled with so much love, wonder, and gratitude.”
They added, “Our precious gift, you are everything we’ve prayed for and more. We are so thankful for this beautiful blessing and the incredible journey ahead as we become a family.”
On Snapchat, Yhemolee confirmed the baby’s gender writing, “My life changed for good the moment I held you, boy.”
The couple tied the knot in a series of ceremonies in 2024, holding their court and traditional wedding in August, followed by a white wedding in September.
Yhemolee had proposed to Thayour in July of the same year.
The pair’s journey to parenthood follows a turbulent period in 2023 when they separated over allegations of infidelity.
However, they rekindled their relationship in early 2024 after Yhemolee issued a public apology to Thayour.
