Taiwo Kekereekun, on-air personality and member of staff of Fresh FM, Osogbo owned by singer Yinka Ayefele, has passed away.
The broadcaster died in the early hours of Monday, June 24 after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
Fresh FM confirmed the news with a heartfelt condolence message on its social media pages.
The post read: “It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that Fresh FM Osogbo announces the untimely passing of one of our esteemed staff members after a brief illness.
“Taiwo Kekereekun, passed away today, Monday, June 24th, 2024. She left behind a legacy of dedication, professionalism, and camaraderie that will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with her.
“We find solace in the lasting memories of her kindness, hard work, and the joy she brought to mankind.”
Fresh FM stations are located in Abeokuta, Ado-Ekiti, Akure, Ibadan, Lagos, and Osogbo.
