For those who do not know, Paragraph 2 the online platform’s Basic Terms insists “You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the Service.”
Celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Naomi Campbell, Chrissy Teigen, Kim Kardashian and Chelsea Handler have fought unsuccessfully to flaunt their lady bits on the service.
Maybe they should have tried naked yoga.
Thousands of subscribers have discovered two women showing off their beautifully toned bodies in stunning nude yoga poses. You read that right – NUDE.
Yoga instructor, Marina Vovchenko, has attracted more than 145,000 subscribers by posting scantily-clad photos of her performing her favourite yoga positions.
The 34-year-old mother from Russia says she has “nothing to be ashamed of” despite criticism that, with a husband and three children, she should be more modest.
“I love my body and think this is the best accessory a woman can have,” she said.
Another, simply known as Nude Yoga Girl, attracted more than 55,000 followers in just over a month.
The anonymous 25-year-old photographer and models argues, “Nudity in social media is a taboo but on the other hand the nakedness and rawness of my photos reflect well what I want to tell people with my account.”
The fitness enthusiast adds, “I always try to find new ways to express myself. I’m very inspired by yoga and photography, so I wanted to bring the two of them together in a pure way. I also love to write and give people tips for healthier and happier lives.”
Do not be surprised if you read somewhere soon that some Nigerian exhibitionists have started taken Yoga lessons in a bid to get Instagram admins look kindly at what should otherwise be classified NSFW.
