Actor Yomi Fash-Lanso has mourned stage manager Jide Abowaba.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Yomi shared photos of the deceased saying, “Only Those Who Knew Lanre Teriba From Way Back Will Know You Jide Omo Abowaba. You’re Always Smiling And Cracking Jokes Even As You Negotiate Deals For Lanre Teriba. This Is A Heart Breaking News. May Your Soul Finds Rest In The Bosom Of Your Creator.”
Singer Lanre Teriba also paid tribute to Abowaba on Instagram.
“My first stage manager, Uncle Jide Abowaba…I never knew that when you traveled to USA in 2014 that it will be a journey of no return for you.
“It is still hard to believe that you are gone and that’s why it has taken me this long to write this. I am short of words. Please rest in perfect peace in the hand of the Lord. We will all miss you.”
Jide died on December 17, 2021.
