Actor Yomi Fash-Lanso has said goodbye to his colleague Osmond Gbadebo who died at age 45.
Osmond’s death was announced on Monday, May 30, by some of his colleagues like Madam Saje, Afeez Owo, Kunle Afod and Zainab Bakare.
In a short tribute to the deceased and another person who he called Tope DMX, Yomi said it was hard to say goodbye to them. The actor also prayed that their souls rest in the bosom of their creators.
He wrote: “Hmmm! TopeDMX/Gbadebo Osmond. It’s hard to say, goodbye guys. May your souls find eternal peace in the bosom of your creator.”
According to veteran actor Yemi Solade, Osmond battled a terminal ailment for years before he finally died.
Gbadebo was famous for movies such as Ewon Ife, Queen Lateefat, Edunjobi and Hired Killer.
The filmmaker will be buried on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Atan Cemetery in Lagos State, while the service of songs will hold on Friday, June 3 at No 57, Mogaji Street, Ijeshatedo Surulere, Lagos.
