Afro beat singer Made Kuti has penned down a lovely tribute to his dad, Afro beat star, Femi Kuti, to mark the latter’s 60th birthday.
Made Kuti shared several photos of himself and his dad and photos of Femi with his father, Afro beat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti on Instagram on Thursday.
Made described Femi as the man he owes everything, adding that he always puts his family first.
“Happy 60th Birthday to the man I owe everything @femiakuti!You’re the only person that will refuse to do a birthday shoot for his 60th. The man who ALWAYS puts his family first,” he wrote.
Femi’s sister, Yeni Kuti, also celebrated her younger brother on Instagram with a goodwill message.
She wrote: “Happy birthday to my brother! @femiakuti Welcome to the 60s. I wish you all the best today and always. I will be posting more pictures later. It’s not easy to be 60 o!!”
Seun also joined his sister in celebrating Femi. He stated that the joy inside him cannot be expressed in words alone, adding that the celebrant’s leadership has been of immense value to his family.
He wrote: “60hearty cheers to the King. Words escape me on this great day because the joy inside of me can’t be expressed in words alone.
