Nollywood actor Mike Ezuruonye has joined the multitude of fans and colleagues celebrating veteran actor Pete Edochie on his 78th birthday.
In a heartfelt tribute posted on Instagram on Friday, Ezuruonye described Edochie as a legend and father figure.
Sharing a photo of the legendary actor, Ezuruonye wrote, “You can’t write a Nollywood story without him. Happy Birthday our Father and LEGEND, Pete Edochie.”
Edochie, widely regarded as one of Africa’s most celebrated actors, has had an illustrious career spanning over four decades.
He marked his special day by sharing a picture of himself on Instagram with the bold caption “Happy 78th Birthday Pete Edochie.”
The veteran actor’s birthday has been met with an outpouring of love and well-wishes from fans and industry colleagues who took to the comment section of his post.
Actress Angel Okorie penned a heartfelt message, writing, “Nnam, happy birthday. We wish you many more years in good health, sir.”
Actor Chinedu Ikedieze also joined in the celebration, commenting, “Happy birthday Ogadagidi, the great legend of our time. Heaven and earth will celebrate and adore you. Age gracefully, sir.”
