Singer Adekunle Gold has penned a touching tribute to his wife and fellow artiste Simi as she marked her birthday.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the Party No Dey Stop crooner shared photos and clips of Simi, alongside a message.
“12 years ago, I met you and nothing’s been the same since,” he wrote.
“Thank you for being my heart, my home, my smile on hard days, my biggest cheerleader, and the most beautiful part of my story. Loving you has been the easiest, happiest thing I’ve ever done. You deserve the world, and I’ll spend forever making sure you know it. I love you more than I ever thought a heart could hold.”
He ended the message with: “Happy birthday Magic.”
The tribute has drawn warm reactions from fans and celebrities, many of whom praised the couple’s love and celebrated Simi’s milestone.
Adekunle Gold and Simi, who dated for several years before tying the knot in a private ceremony in January 2019, are known for publicly supporting each other’s music and personal milestones.
Their union is blessed with a daughter, Adejare, born in May 2020.
