Comedian-turned-prophet Oluwatoyin Bayegun, popularly known as Woli Arole, has expressed gratitude to gospel singer Tope Alabi and her husband, Soji Alabi, for attending his father’s burial.
Arole lost his father in January, describing him as his hero and role model.
He expressed how much he would miss him but was grateful for the joyful moments they shared before his passing.
Days ago, he and his siblings held a grand burial ceremony in his honor, with Tope Alabi and her husband among the guests.
Taking to Instagram, Woli Arole appreciated the couple for making time despite their busy schedules.
“How can I thank you, Ma @tope_alabi_ and my bishop @officialpopesojialabi? You showed up despite being so busy. I celebrate you deeply, Ma and Sir!!” he wrote.
The couple’s presence at the burial was not unexpected, given their close relationship with Arole.
Last year, Woli Arole celebrated Soji Alabi on his birthday, calling him a divine gift whose wisdom, humility, and support had greatly impacted his life.
Likewise, on Arole’s birthday, Tope Alabi referred to him as her “son,” praising his kind nature and devotion to Christ while praying for him to fulfill his destiny.
