Award-winning actress Funke Akindele has extended heartfelt prayers to her friend and colleague Eniola Badmus, who recently made a public plea for prayers to have children.
Eniola, 42, became emotional during her annual charity event, where she feeds the less privileged, tearfully expressing her desire to experience motherhood.
Her vulnerability sparked widespread reactions online, with fans and colleagues offering prayers and support.
Responding to the plea on Saturday, Funke, known for her iconic role as Lefty in Omo Ghetto, shared a video montage of moments with Eniola on Instagram.
Over a comforting voiceover, Funke prayed passionately for Eniola, prophesying that she would soon become a mother.
“Badosky, work hard and make all the money you can this year because next year, you’ll be busy with children.
“You’ll be called the mother of twins and triplets, blessed with both male and female children. I’ll personally throw a big party at their naming ceremony. Don’t cry; be joyful,” Funke declared.
In her caption, Funke wrote:
“My darling Eniola Badmus, #LeftyOmoGhetto has a message for you. God’s got you.
“I love you! All your prayers are answered in Jesus’ name. Love you, baby girl. Check your DM for my account details! O se (owo Adura).”
The actresses, who have been friends for years, had previously addressed rumours of a rift, citing busy schedules as the reason for their reduced public appearances together.
Eniola attended Funke’s movie premiere and her praise fiesta late last year, further debunking the speculations.
