Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has sent a veiled message to the founder of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare.
Bakare, who was Buhari’s running mate in the 2011 presidential election, appeared in clips being circulated on social media on Monday saying he would succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

The preacher said he was born for the purpose of governing the country.
“I will succeed Buhari as President of Nigeria, nothing can change it. I am number 16, Buhari is number 15. I never said it to you before. I am saying it now and nothing can change it,” he said.
The cleric’s statement, though made in February 2018, has been received with outrage on social media.
In the video, Bakare described Buhari as Moses, who will take Nigerians to River Jordan, and himself as Joshua, who would lead Nigerians across the river to the Promised Land.
In a tweet on Monday, Mr Fani-Kayode, without mentioning Bakare’s name, said anyone who endorses President Buhari’s policies cannot be described as Joshua.
He said: “If you say Buhari is Moses and you are Joshua that will succeed him then something is wrong.
“Buhari is NOT Moses and NO-ONE that endorses his vicious, divisive and sectional policies can be described as Joshua. He is NOT leading us to the Promise Land, he is leading us to HELL!”

The former minister had in a tweet on September 21 said that Bakare would make a better Vice President than Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
“Rumours abound and if the truth be told @T_Bakare would be a much better VP than @ProfOsinbajo. I may not agree with him on everything but at least he is loyal, he is courageous, he is strong and he would never betray his people and faith. That is more than I can say for Osubande,” he said.
