Actress Shaffy Bello has called out an impersonator for crossing the line by sharing a photo of her daughter.
Shaffy took to Instagram on Thursday to expose the X impersonator, sharing screenshots of the fraudulent account and its activities.
She expressed her frustration, warning followers to disregard any interactions with the account.
“Have posted about this long enough!!! Please don’t fall for it anymore!!! Please help retweet ❌❌❌❌,” she wrote.
Addressing the impersonator directly she added, “I know the impersonator is going to see this! YOU’VE GONE TOO FAR😡…using my daughter’s image???😡😡😡.”
Shaffy revealed this is not the first time she has had to deal with the same account.
Last year, she alerted the public to the impersonator operating under the username “IamShaffyBello.”
Although Shaffy had not been active on X previously, she confirmed opening a verified account with the handle “TheShaffyBello” to combat the impersonation and urged Nigerians to exercise caution.
