Nollywood actor and politician, Yul Edochie, has celebrated his father, Pete Edochie, on his 72nd birthday.
The 37-year-old sent a message to his father via social media, wishing him more successful years.
“Happy 72nd birthday Dad! Many more great yrs I wish you,” he wrote.
Yul Edochie is the last child of legendary Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie.
Pete Edochie came into prominence in the 1980s for playing the lead role of Okonkwo in an adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s bestselling novel, Things Fall Apart.
He has maintained a presence in the movie industry for more than four decades.
In 2003, he was honoured as a Member of the Order of the Niger by President Olusegun Obasanjo.
