Actor and media personality Gideon Okeke has crowned his colleague Zubby Michael as the biggest Nollywood star.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, Gideon praised Zubby while drawing a comparison to the biblical story of Elizabeth and Mary.
He emphasised the need for humility in recognizing God’s work in others.
He wrote, “Zubby Michael is the biggest Nollywood star. But like Elizabeth, I know what Mary is carrying. God’s expression resounds in different decibels. It takes ONLY humility to submit in praise to God. Keep riding my broda. I see you.”
Zubby Michael has often been vocal about his status in Nollywood.
Earlier this year, he stirred reactions on social media when he declared himself the “biggest actor in Africa” while speaking on Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s reality TV series Ebuka Turns Up Africa.
His bold claim sparked a humorous exchange with fellow actor Timini Egbuson, who immediately countered Zubby, insisting that he was not bigger than him.
